Aya Matsuura is a Japanese actress and pop singer. nicked name Ayaya.

Aya Matsuura was born on June 25, 1986 in Himeji, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.




Aya Matsuura is part of the Jpop crew known as the Hello! Project which she joined in 2000 during a Morning Musume & Heike Michiyo Protegee Audition.

Aya Matsuura is one of the Hello! Projects biggest solo stars and so far has 5 albums (First Kiss, T.W.O, X3, Naked Songs, Double Rainbow ) plus a greatest hits cd.




But Aya Matsuura has also been a part of a number of groups with her fellow Hello! Project mates such as Gomattou, Nochiura Natsumi, DEF.DIVA, 3-nin Matsuri, Odoru 11, Salt5 and H.P All-Stars.

Matsuura Aya is also one of the co host of Utawara.

Aya Matsuura has acted in the film Ao no hono-o (or The Blue Light) and was the star of Yo-Yo Girl Cop (or Sukeban Deka: Kôdo nêmu = Asamiya Saki)
